Inside the LAPD, hosted by Mary Grady, Public Information Director for the LAPD, is LA Cityview 35's weekly series that delves behind the scenes of the Los Angeles Police Department; offering insight into the inner-workings pf the agency responsible for protecting and serving America's second largest city. Since its launch in July 2001, Inside the LAPD has profiled such specialized divisions as the Gang Unit, the Abandoned Babies Unit, the LAPD Bomb Squad, the Art Theft Detail, the Bike Patrol, the SWAT team, and the LAPD Reserves; and covered such topical stories internet crimes against children, juvenile truancy, identity theft, and "under-policing."
