Rick Caruso is the king of fashionable shopping malls in Southern California, spreading what’s known as “Caruso Style” from Marina del Rey to Glendale to the Fairfax District. His two best-known projects are The Grove and The Americana at Glendale, but he has many others in the works. Caruso considered running for Mayor of Los Angeles, but ultimately pulled out of the race. He’s a veteran of several city commissions and was instrumental in the hiring of LAPD Chief Bratton.
